If you have passion, drive and the will to succeed, rise to the challenge today!# As a Philanthropy Advisor within BOS, you will advise clients (comprising high and ultra-high net-worth individuals and families and family offices seeking to develop and make a meaningful philanthropic program and impact. You will provide guidance on charitable giving and the establishment of philanthropic plans and structures, aligning the clients' values with their legacy planning objectives.Specific scope of work includes Client Advisory & Strategy Development + Provide philanthropy advice to clients in relation to the various philanthropic strategies, including grant-making, impact investing, and charitable structures. + Facilitate values-based conversations to help clients articulate their philanthropic vision and goals. + Attend meetings and lead discussions with clients, bankers and professional advisors with the view of addressing the client objectives and providing the guidance, advice and possible solutions. + Continually review and development of BOS' Philanthropy Advisory capabilities and offerings that address clients' philanthropic objectives taking into consideration the evolving philanthropic landscape. Structuring & Implementation + Facilitate the client's setup and administration of the philanthropic vehicle (e.g., donor-advised funds, private foundations, charitable trusts). + Develop and collaborate with a network of legal, tax, philanthropy professionals, and other external advisors that comprise the eco-system of service providers that helps and supports clients in developing and maintaining their philanthropic programs + Guide clients on how they monitor and evaluate their philanthropic initiatives and impact metrics. Relationship Management + Build and maintain strong relationships with bankers and their clients and external advisors with respect to the client's philanthropic journey + Liaise with charities, non-profit organizations and social enterprises to identify and maintain partnership opportunities and relationships. + Organize philanthropic roundtables, events, and educational sessions for clients. Internal Collaboration + Work closely with bankers, Investment Advisors, and Family Office & Wealth Advisory Specialists to integrate philanthropy into holistic wealth management. + Provide internal training and updates to bankers and other relevant internal stakeholders on philanthropic trends and solutions. Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership + Stay abreast of global philanthropic trends, regulatory changes, and innovations. + Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, articles, and client presentations.# Requirements Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in philanthropy advisory, non-profit consulting, or other relevant working experience. Strong understanding of charitable structures, tax implications, and impact measurement. Knowledge of legal, tax and regulatory environment in key markets and how these affect structuring of philanthropic solutions . Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client interfacing skills. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a diversified client base. Ability to navigate complex family dynamics and sensitive conversations with discretion. Ability to work as an independent self-starter with the ability to interact with a wide cross section of stakeholders. Experience working with family offices or multi-generational clients. Certifications and qualifications related to Philanthropy. Passion for social impact and sustainability.
