We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain the blood draw process
• Verify patient information and confirm the type of test ordered
• Sterilize and prepare equipment, including needles, tourniquets, and gauze
• Identify the best vein for the blood draw and insert needle with precision
• Label and store blood samples correctly
• Monitor patients during the process to ensure their safety and comfort
• Follow proper procedures for disposing of used needles and other sharps
• Keep accurate records of patient information, including medical histories and test results
• Communicate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of samples

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification or training in phlebotomy preferred
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Empathetic attitude towards patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
• Willingness to adhere to all safety standards
