Responsibilities

● Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on adults and children.

● Collect urine, saliva, stool, and other non‑blood specimens per test requirements.

● Follow all safety, PPE, and infection‑control protocols.

● Select correct tubes, labels, and collection supplies for each test.

● Ensure proper sample handling: centrifuging, aliquoting, refrigeration, and packaging.

Specimen Processing & Shipping

● Prepare specimens for shipment to reference labs (Quest, LabCorp, Access, or other contracted labs).

● Complete all requisitions accurately and legibly.

● Maintain chain‑of‑custody documentation for drug screens and legal testing.

● Package specimens according to DOT and lab‑specific guidelines.

CLIA‑Waived Testing

● Perform in‑house rapid tests (Urine Drug Screens, COVID, flu, strep, pregnancy, glucose, urinalysis, etc.).

● Document results accurately and communicate them per store policy.

● Maintain quality control logs and equipment checks.

Customer Service & Front Office Support

● Greet customers and guide them through the testing process.

● Explain test requirements, preparation instructions, and expectations.

● Process payments, manage POS transactions, and schedule appointments.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and professional testing environment. Compliance & Documentation

● Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA regulations at all times.

● Maintain accurate logs, daily checklists, and inventory counts.

● Assist with audits, quality assurance, and safety reviews. Additional Duties (as needed)

● Support biometric screenings, employer testing events, and onsite collections.

● Assist with inventory ordering and supply management.

● Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Requirements

● Active Phlebotomy Certification or CMA credential.

● Minimum 2 year of phlebotomy experience (preferred in a fast‑paced setting).

● Strong communication and customer‑service skills.

● Ability to work independently and follow standardized procedures.

● Comfort with computers, Google Suite, POS systems, and electronic documentation.

● Must be able to travel to all Any Lab Test Now locations as needed for staffing, training, or operational support.

Preferred

● Experience with Quest/LabCorp/Access requisitions.

● Familiarity with DOT and non‑DOT drug screening procedures.

● Prior retail, urgent care, or outpatient lab experience.

Physical Requirements

●Ability to stand for extended periods.

● Ability to perform repetitive hand motions (venipuncture).

● Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (shipping supplies, centrifuge lids, etc.).

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
