Rehab Select at Hillview Terrace is a 143 bed, rehabilitation facility that has been in business for over 30 years. We offer personalized, one-on-one rehabilitation with a physician-led approach. Our staff is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best, most successful recovery possible in the shortest amount of time.

Our facility is currently looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team. We offer benefits, a friendly work atmosphere, and opportunities for growth. As the phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood, tagging each sample and working closely with the lab to ensure that the proper samples are delivered for each resident. The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy in order to extract reliable and valid results

Qualifications

Required

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Certified Phlebotomist.
• Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.

Job Requirements

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture an capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, Covid-19 tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in carrying out daily phlebotomy functions.
• Prepare blood collecting equipment, draw blood and safely store and transport samples.
• Build trust and minimize patient discomfort during phlebotomy procedures while efficiently collecting blood specimens.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
