Phlebotomist

We are looking for a meticulous phlebotomist who will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for diagnostic, donation, or transfusion purposes. They may test the blood specimens themselves or they will be responsible for labeling the specimen vials and arranging transportation of specimens to laboratories for analysis.

• Shift: 11P-7A - WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED
• Location : Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey
• Pay : $25 to $29/hour
• Duration : 26 weeks (Extensions possible)
• Job Start Date - 6/29/26

Responsibilities:

* Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages

* Collect specimens in ED and inpatient units based on priority

* Ensure positive patient identification and accurate labeling at bedside

* Handle and transport specimens per laboratory policy

* Communicate effectively with nursing and lab staff regarding issues or delays

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year recent hospital-based phlebotomy experience (required)

* Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection

* National phlebotomy certification(Preferred)

* Ability to work independently in a high-volume overnight setting

* Strong communication skills

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
