Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Manhattan, NY 10016
Duration: 14-Week Contract
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week (7.5 Hours per Day)
Pay Rate: $20 – $29 per hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $750 – $1,087.50

Available Shifts

• 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (2 openings)

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1 opening)

• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (1 opening)

• Monday – Friday

• Rotating weekends (every other weekend required)

• Holidays required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 14-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital or laboratory experience and the ability to work flexible shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays. Multiple shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws for patients of all ages

• Accurately identify patients and properly label specimens

• Process, handle, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols

• Maintain specimen integrity and follow infection control guidelines

• Work in hospital, commercial laboratory, or blood bank environments

• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately

• Provide professional and compassionate patient care

• Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience in a hospital, commercial lab, or blood bank setting

• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) required

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program required

• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays
