Phlebotomist Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Phlebotomist Instructor to lead the training and development of aspiring phlebotomists within our educational programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and patient care while fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Duties

• Develop comprehensive training curricula covering laboratory procedures, venipuncture, blood sampling, and aseptic techniques
• Deliver engaging classroom lectures and hands-on practical sessions on laboratory techniques, physiology, and anatomy knowledge
• Supervise student practice in specimen collection, processing, and patient care scenarios to ensure safety and accuracy
• Assess student performance through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and examinations to ensure mastery of skills
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory management protocols, and compliance requirements
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students on schedule management, professionalism, and laboratory best practices
• Collaborate with clinical laboratories and hospital partners to align training with real-world standards and expectations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, and clinical laboratory settings with a focus on phlebotomy or venipuncture
• Strong background in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and blood sampling methods
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or management experience in healthcare or educational environments
• Excellent communication skills for effective instruction and student engagement
• Knowledge of laboratory management systems, compliance regulations, and safety protocols
• Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred to provide practical insights into patient service and specimen handling
• Ability to manage schedules efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
