Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients with precision and care, ensuring accurate processing and documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient health and well-being. The ideal candidate would be someone with phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting that is also willing to have on-the-job training to become a surgical/dental assistant and also assist with facial esthetic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling using proper aseptic techniques, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain detailed records of specimen collection, processing steps, and patient information in accordance with proper protocols.
- Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns compassionately, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to laboratory procedures, including infection control practices and proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and anatomy relevant to blood sampling.
- Proven experience in clinical laboratory settings with proficiency in venipuncture (blood draws) and specimen collection.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology.
- Familiarity with physiology principles related to blood flow, anatomy of veins, and vital signs measurement.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
- Prior laboratory or hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
