The Phlebotomist is responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of client services they are qualified to handle. The Phlebotomist performs various collection services - phlebotomy, client services and other sample collection duties.

• Ability to follow written draw requirements for a variety of specialty lab requisitons.
• Desire to continue professional development and training to expand knowledge.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Lab Manager.
• Phlebotomy license required.
• DOT certified preferred.
• Male candidate for DOT/NDOT observed collections of male drug test collections preferred.

Primary Duties:

• Greet and handle client flow.
• All testing collection processes for drug, alcohol, DNA tests, physical exams and clinical testing (urine, saliva, hair, phlebotomy).
• Perform observed and unobserved urine collections.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT collections and testing
• Perform fingerprint collection services.
• Collect DNA, hair and nail collections and accurately submit paperwork.
• Potentially perform after-hours collections, as well as on-site collections at various workplaces as directed.
• Administer accurate, reliable, confidential, and timely records.
• Adhere to all relevant state/federal regulations, as well as company policies, and procedures.
• Communicate accurately with clients, Designated Employee Representative, and Medical Review Officers.
• Maintain client records via data entry and manually.
• Perform basic cleaning to comply with lab protocol.
• Maintain inventory including ordering, receiving and storing.
• Answer phone, check email, check voice mail and fax.
• Model phlebotomy skills for externs from various schools

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
