Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant/Lab Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within a clinical setting. This position involves performing various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility while delivering high-quality service to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and processing, including blood sampling and venipuncture.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Conduct laboratory procedures and techniques, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and availability.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology in daily tasks.
• Support administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safety during procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
