Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality classroom and lab instruction on phlebotomy techniques, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Supervise students during practical training in simulated environments ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Assess student performance through examinations, skill demonstrations, documentation reviews, and continuous feedback to support their professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and competency assessments in compliance with authorization standards.
• Stay current with advancements in phlebotomy, medical terminology, and related fields to ensure curriculum relevance and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in phlebotomy with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, patient care, and acute care environments.
• Prior teaching or adult education experience in higher education settings, vocational training programs, or workplace settings.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and public health principles.
• Supervising experience in laboratory settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse student populations.
