Phlebotomy Technician

Battenkill Valley Health Center is seeking a proficient and responsible, part-time phlebotomist. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player, who is attentive to details, can work independently, and demonstrates excellent customer service skills while exercising sound judgement in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collection of specimens ordered by providers that will aid in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Performing all phlebotomy procedures in accordance with BVHC Policies and Procedures.
• Accurately identifying patient and collecting appropriate specimens.
• Maintaining specimen integrity by collecting and transporting specimens in a timely manner.
• Completing accurate and appropriate documentation.
• Ordering and maintaining lab supplies.
• Assisting the Medical Clinic Manager with vaccine management.
• Other duties to support the Clinical Team.

EHR experience required | Microsoft Office experience required | Experience working within a medical practice preferred
