About Us

PUSH Healthcare Academy is seeking an experienced and dependable Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team. We are looking for a healthcare professional who is passionate about teaching and training future phlebotomists in a hands-on classroom environment.

Candidate must reside in the Orlando area.

Employment Type

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Part-Time
• As Needed

Compensation

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Saturdays and Sundays
• 4-Week Course Schedule
• Candidate must be available to work all 4 weeks of the program

Responsibilities

• Teach phlebotomy skills and procedures in a classroom and lab setting
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Instruct students on infection control, safety procedures, specimen handling, and professionalism
• Supervise hands-on blood draw practice
• Maintain student attendance and course documentation
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Prepare students for entry-level phlebotomy opportunities

Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomist (Required)
• Must be actively working in a healthcare office
• Minimum of 5 years of blood draw experience
• Strong venipuncture skills and patient interaction experience
• Excellent communication and classroom leadership skills
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred
• Professional, dependable, and student-focused

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare safety standards
• Ability to demonstrate hands-on procedures clearly and professionally
