Columbia Skin Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Call Center Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for answering patient calls, scheduling appointments, creating new patient accounts, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, routing clinical calls to the appropriate team members, and providing routine non-medical information to patients and families in preparation for their visits.
Strong insurance verification and eligibility experience is required. Candidates must be comfortable working with multiple insurance carriers, confirming coverage details, and ensuring accurate patient information prior to appointments.
Dermatology office experience is preferred. Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced medical office environment.
