Key Responsibilities:
- All video footage is captured with high quality in both visuals and sound and maintain proper organization of files to guarantee optimal results in the final product. Capture high-quality video footage using professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Ensure the composition, lighting, and sound are aligned with the project’s vision.
- Review and finalize videos, ensuring the content is properly edited, refined, and ready for distribution or publication.
- Ensure that all video and audio equipment is set up correctly before shoots and properly maintained after each use.
- Optimize video content for various platforms (social media, websites, broadcast, etc.) to ensure quality and functionality across different formats and devices.
- Manage time effectively to meet project timelines and deadlines for video production.
- Provide creative suggestions for improving video production quality and enhancing the overall visual storytelling.
- Travel to project sites with clients and agents to capture high-quality images and videos, ensuring the visual content effectively represents the project and meets client expectations.
- Communicate with clients to gather feedback, make revisions, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
Key Responsibilities (Photography):
- Collaborate with clients or team members to understand the vision, goals, and style for the shoot. Prepare necessary equipment and select appropriate locations.
- Use professional cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to capture clear, well-composed, and aesthetically pleasing photographs that meet project or client needs.
- Edit and enhance photographs using software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, adjusting elements like exposure, colour, contrast, and retouching as needed.
- Ensure that all camera gear and photography equipment are in good condition, clean, and ready for use. This includes managing storage and maintaining backups.
- Provide artistic direction for shoots, guiding subjects on poses, framing, and composition to achieve the desired visual outcomes.
- Keep up with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment advancements to continually improve skills and adapt to new styles or industry standards.
- Meet project deadlines by effectively managing time and organizing photoshoots, edits, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities (Video Editing):
- Capture compelling video content that is engaging and suited to the specific platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), ensuring high-quality visuals and sound.
- Edit raw footage into polished, shareable videos that fit within platform specifications. This includes cutting, trimming, adding text overlays, captions, graphics, music, and effects to enhance engagement.
- Stay up to date with trending video styles, challenges, and hashtags on social media. Incorporate popular trends and creative ideas to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Add captions or subtitles for accessibility and to cater to viewers watching without sound, which is common on social media platforms.
- Ensure quick turnaround times for video production, as social media trends and demands evolve rapidly.
- Analyse performance metrics (views, engagement, shares) of social media videos and use insights to improve future content. A/B test video formats to understand what resonates best with the audience.
- Integrate branding elements like logos, colours, and fonts to ensure consistent identity across all social media videos.
