Photographer / Videographer & Content Creator

Job Summary

Headwater Productions is a Nashville-based creative production studio specializing in premium real estate content, brand storytelling, and social media. We're looking for a dynamic and creative Photographer / Videographer & Content Creator who doesn't just show up to capture — someone who genuinely loves making things, thinks visually, and brings creative energy to every shoot whether it's a luxury listing or a brand social campaign.

In this role, you'll produce high-quality photo and video content across real estate, light commercial productions, and social media. The best fit here is someone who would be doing this kind of work on their own time anyway — a natural storyteller with the technical chops to back it up.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photos and videos across real estate, brand, and social content
• Execute real estate photography and videography including twilight and HDR bracketing shoots
• Operate drone and gimbal equipment to capture dynamic aerial and stabilized footage
• Manage post-production from color grading and sound to final delivery
• Assist our social media team with professional, platform-ready content creation
• Cover events and produce brand content that aligns with client objectives
• Maintain organized digital asset libraries and deliver on time across multiple projects
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members before, during, and after shoots

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional photography and/or videography experience
• Must own a professional-grade mirrorless camera body (Sony a7 IV / FX3 / a7S III, Canon R5 / R5 C / R6 II / C70, or equivalent)
• Must own a gimbal (DJI RS series or equivalent)
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve for video editing and color grading
• Proficient in Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop for photo editing
• Experience with CapCut or mobile-first editing for social content
• Experience with twilight photography and HDR bracketing
• Strong understanding of video production workflows from concept through delivery
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye for composition and light
• Strong communication skills with the ability to professionally represent the Headwater brand on set and in client-facing situations
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (preferred)
• Prior real estate photography experience (preferred)
• An active portfolio, social presence, or passion projects that demonstrate a genuine love for creating — not just client work
