Photography Photo Editor (Photoshop and Lightroom)

This is NOT a remote job, you need to live in or near Pineville, NC. The position is M-F from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. We have full-time permanent positions and full-time seasonal (seasonal means that the job may end at the beginning or end of December based on workload.)

St John Photography is a high-volume school photography studio. We are small, but have a fun atmosphere and everyone gets along with one another well. We get very busy during the spring and fall. Your position would employ Photoshop and Lightroom on a daily basis, processing a large amount of images each day. You will also learn to print on our own minilab chemical printer, sublimation printer, Large Banner Printer, CVP Card printer, and to utilize many other apps and software needed to process photos. The work must be performed at our office in Pineville, NC Monday through Friday from 7:30 until 4:00 pm. If you have a good deal of experience retouching PEOPLE using Photoshop and Lightroom we could use your help! If your Photoshop experience is limited to graphic work or you don't use Lightroom to bulk process photos, this job is probably not for you. If you know how to whiten teeth, fix flyaway hair, smooth complexions, correct color, and know the difference between a Tiff and a jpeg, you may be perfect!

You must:

• Have excellent Microsoft Window skills as opposed to Mac
• Use Photoshop and Lightroom regularly
• Be able to work in a high production environment
• Possess a great sense of urgency and be able to prioritize duties to meet strict deadlines
• Have a great attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with internal office personal, customers and photographers in person, phone & email
• Be able to lift boxes up to 30lbs
• Answer phones during elevated periods
• Other duties, as assigned
