PHP Core Developer

As a PHP Core Developer at ZPayso, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our fintech platforms. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop RESTful APIs and optimize application performance, reliability, and security. Your role is key to ensuring smooth backend operations for ZPayso's digital products and merchant services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, reusable, and efficient Core PHP code.
• Design, build, and document RESTful APIs to support web and mobile front-end integration.
• Optimize application performance for scalability, speed, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, UI/UX teams, and product managers to deliver functional solutions.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug backend systems to ensure stability and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in peer code reviews and suggest improvements to enhance code quality.
• Ensure application-level security measures and data protection protocols are in place.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in Core PHP development.
• Strong command ofRESTful API design and integration.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills for performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, orSymfony.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
