The Role

We're seeking a Full Stack & MERN Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance web applications that connect our global brands to millions of customers.

The ideal candidate is versatile across modern JavaScript frameworks and PHP ecosystems, capable of integrating legacy systems with modern architectures. You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver scalable solutions that power Nysonian's D2C ecosystem across travel, fitness, and wellness.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using PHP (Laravel / CodeIgniter) and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data communication.

• Modernize and scale existing PHP-based backend systems while implementing new React.js modules.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).

• Architect efficient database schemas for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Optimize performance, scalability, and responsiveness across all environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development process.

• Deploy and manage web applications on AWS, Digital Ocean, or similar cloud platforms.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization efforts.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.

• Hands-on expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony).

• Strong command of React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.

• Solid database experience with MongoDB and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.

• Experience with Git / GitHub / GitLab for version control.

• Understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and asynchronous programming.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Additional Opening: PHP Developer (Core PHP / CodeIgniter)

We're also hiring a PHP Developer with strong expertise in Core Coding and the CodeIgniter framework to build robust backend systems that power Nysonian's ERP and web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (Core & CodeIgniter).

• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party web services.

• Ensure data security and optimize performance.

• Collaborate across teams to define and implement new features.

• Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a PHP Developer.

• Experience with Postgres for ERP systems.

• Strong grasp of MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, AJAX, and Git/SVN.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
