Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Backend Developer (Fresher/Junior) who is eager to build robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications. In this role, you will work across the backend development lifecycle—developing core application logic, creating and integrating REST APIs, managing databases, and supporting CMS-based solutions.

You will work with technologies such as PHP, CodeIgniter, Node.js, MySQL, and popular CMS platforms including WordPress, Shopify, and Wix. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-time client projects, opportunities to learn industry best practices, and guidance from experienced developers in a growth-driven environment.

What We Expect

Backend Technologies:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, CodeIgniter, Node.js
• REST API development and integration
• Understanding of MVC architecture & server-side routing

CMS & Website Builders:

• WordPress, Shopify, Wix (customisation & development).

Databases:

• MySQL – CRUD operations, relationships, basic optimisation.

Core Competencies

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and clean coding practices.
• Clear understanding of how frontend and backend communicate through APIs.
• Ability to convert UI/UX designs into responsive, functional user interfaces.
• Ability to write backend logic, create APIs, and handle server-side workflows.
• Basic knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Quick learner with strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to showcase your work through GitHub or a project portfolio.

Backend Responsibilities:

• Develop backend logic using PHP, CodeIgniter, and Node.js.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for smooth frontend integration.
• Work with MySQL for data storage, queries, relationships, and database structure.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and server-side validation.
• Handle routing, MVC structure, and overall application workflow.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Customize and extend CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix) from the backend perspective.
• Support deployment, hosting configurations, and basic server management.
