PHP Developer (Bank Feed Integration Experience Required)

We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer who has hands-on experience building and maintaining bank feed integrations. If you’re comfortable working with financial data, third-party APIs, and secure data workflows, we want to talk to you!
What You’ll Do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain PHP applications with a focus on bank feed processing
• Integrate financial institutions using APIs, SFTP, webhooks, and custom data formats
• Work with accounting, reconciliation, and transaction-level data
• Ensure high levels of security, data integrity, and error handling
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build scalable financial features

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience (Laravel preferred)
• Proven experience building bank feed integrations (e.g., Plaid, SaltEdge, Yodlee, direct bank APIs)
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and reconciliation logic
• Experience with MySQL, REST APIs, and background job queues
• Knowledge of secure coding practices (encryption, secure file transfer, tokenized auth, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and deliver clean, maintainable code

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, accounting systems, or payment platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of PSD2/Open Banking standards
