Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PHP Full Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience in backend-heavy application development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, object-oriented programming, RESTful API development, and complex SQL queries. Experience with Python and working knowledge of Perl for legacy system maintenance will be an added advantage.

Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, backend-heavy web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using OOP principles.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work extensively with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, and WordPress.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Maintain and support legacy systems built in Perl.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks:
• Laravel
• CodeIgniter
• CakePHP
• WordPress
• Strong backend development experience in Python.
• Working knowledge of Perl for maintaining legacy systems.
• High proficiency in MySQL database design and complex SQL queries.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git preferred).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on backend-heavy or high-traffic applications.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and caching techniques.
• Experience with deployment processes and server management is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
