PHP Web Developer

We are looking for a skilled and innovative PHP Web Developer with hands-on experience in CodeIgniter or Laravel, particularly in e-commerce development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining responsive websites while ensuring high performance, strong SEO compatibility, and excellent user experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, or Laravel frameworks.
• Build and optimize e-commerce websites with secure and efficient functionality.
• Create clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Develop fully responsive and mobile-first websites across all browsers and devices.
• Implement and manage AMP pages where required.

Front-End & Back-End Expertise

• Develop user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Work with APIs, JSON, and database integrations.
• Use browser debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
• Maintain and optimize databases using MySQL and WordPress $wpdb object.

SEO & Digital Optimization

• Apply SEO best practices and digital marketing techniques to improve website visibility.
• Optimize websites to achieve first-page ranking on Google.
• Ensure technical SEO standards are implemented across all web platforms.

Version Control & Collaboration

• Work with version control tools such as Git and SVN.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and project managers to meet technical and business requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or any related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a PHP Web Developer (CodeIgniter/Laravel).
• Strong experience in e-commerce website development.
• Proficiency in:
• PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter)
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• JSON, AJAX, API integrations
• Experience with MAMP/WAMP or similar local environments.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and technical optimization.
• Familiarity with MySQL and WordPress development is preferred.
• Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• AMP development experience
• Knowledge of WordPress development workflows
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with responsive design frameworks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
