PHP Web Developer

Job Description:

Tigris Codes is seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PHP frameworks and e-commerce development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a PHP Web Developer
• Experience working with CodeIgniter and/or Laravel
• Strong experience in e-commerce website development

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based web applications
• Build and manage fully responsive websites
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON
• Experience with PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter or Laravel)
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and WordPress ($wpdb object)
• Familiarity with Git and SVN version control systems
• Experience with MAMP, WAMP, or other local development environments
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web development
• AMP knowledge and development experience (preferred)
• Experience using debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices

Soft Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
