About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Laravel PHP & WordPress Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance web applications and websites. You’ll work across both back-end and front-end technologies to deliver clean, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive, and visually appealing websites using Laravel, PHP, and WordPress.
• Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Implement and maintain API integrations, third-party plugins, and custom features.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functional websites.
• Optimise websites for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and debug performance or functionality issues.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies to continuously enhance development processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Laravel / PHP and WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Proven experience with responsive web design and front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with Shopify and other CMS platforms is a plus.
• Experience in API integration and custom API development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and team management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Extras

• Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Deep understanding of CMS architecture and plugin/theme customisation.
• A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving your craft.
