In the Early Years, our personalised, play based continuous provision ensures students are rigorously assessed against the EYFS framework, developing strong foundations for future learning. In Primary, pupils benefit from a broad and enriching curriculum, including a range of non core subjects. In Secondary, students complete IGCSEs in Year 11 before progressing to the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) or IB Career related Programme (IBCP) in Years 12 and 13.

Position: Physical Education Teacher - August 2026

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated educator to join our outstanding, well resourced PE department. You will be working alongside a team of highly motivated professionals who are committed to student progress, holistic development, and inspiring students to remain physically active.

The PE team plays an active role in extra curricular sports and successfully runs teams across a wide range of disciplines. Candidates are expected to contribute fully to both curriculum and extra curricular PE and sport. Our department also offers an extensive swimming programme, to which all members contribute. Experience in teaching swimming would be advantageous.

All PE teachers may be required to teach IGCSE PE and IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Science, and will be supported in developing the necessary skills to do so effectively. While PE teachers are designated as either 'Primary' or 'Secondary', members of the department may be required to contribute across both schools.

Key Requirements

• Certified teaching qualification in PE (PGCE or equivalent) and possession of QTS certification.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience teaching physical education in the UK or a reputable British school overseas.
• Evidence of leading a wide range of extra curricular sports activities.
• Confidence and competence in delivering and contributing to the PE curriculum across relevant age groups.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in Physical Education.
• Experience and passion for EYFS and Primary PE and swimming (Desirable).
• Ability to teach up to IGCSE Physical Education/BTEC Sport Level 2 with a proven track record of strong student performance outcomes (Desirable).
