Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Doctor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to conduct independent medical evaluations. This role emphasizes objective assessments to support the disability benefits process and does not involve treatment. The physician will review medical records, perform thorough evaluations, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and efficiently through a secure online platform. This position is ideal for professionals who value precision, efficiency, and making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records via a secure digital portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating evaluations to document current health conditions.
• Complete and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and promptly.
• Maintain high-quality documentation, typically within 24 hours of evaluation.
• Conduct assessments for up to four patients per day.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with administrative teams as needed.

Requirements:

• Active MD or DO license with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Completion of a relevant residency program; board certification in PM&R, Neurology, or Psychiatry & Neurology is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
• Proficiency with digital medical records and online platforms.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience conducting independent medical evaluations or disability assessments.
• Familiarity with Disability Benefits Questionnaires and the disability evaluation process.
