Physical Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physical Science subjects (Physics & Chemistry) to senior school students as per the curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that simplify complex concepts for effective learning.
• Use innovative teaching methods, experiments, and demonstrations to make science practical and interactive.
• Assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support and motivate students, including those with special needs, to build their confidence and interest in science.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Coordinate with other teachers and staff to ensure holistic student development.
• Participate in training programs, workshops, and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience (experience in special education settings is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Physical Science concepts and ability to simplify them for students.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to work with children with hearing impairment and diverse learning needs.
