Physical Therapist

The Role

We’re hiring a COTA or Physical Therapist for flexible, as-needed visits across South Florida. Specifically in Fort Lauderdale/plantation and surrounding. Ideal for clinicians who want meaningful one-on-one work, a light caseload, and schedule control.

What you’ll do

• Provide in-home treatments (therapeutic exercise, functional training, mobility/gait, self-care) and client/caregiver education.
• Perform screens/evals as appropriate and implement treatment plans; collaborate with the lead therapist.
• Document visits and progress clearly and on time (basic EHR/documentation skills).
• Practice safely and respectfully in the home setting while protecting client privacy (HIPAA).

What you’ll need

• Active Florida license as a COTA or PT
• Strong bedside manner, clear communication, and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to travel locally for home visits; comfortable working independently.
• Professional liability insurance (min. $1M/$3M)
• CPR/BLS preferred
• Neuro or home-health experience is a plus (not required)

Schedule & Compensation

• Status: 1099 independent contractor.
• Schedule: Flexible / as-needed; you choose the visits you accept.
• Pay: Per-unit for insurance visits with separate hourly rates for private-pay cases (discussed during interview). Only accepting Medicare part B
• Invoicing & pay cycle: Contractor invoices; paid bi-weekly/monthly.

Nice-to-haves

• Comfort with neuro populations (Parkinson’s, stroke, MS).
• Interest in evidence-based practice and client-centered goal setting.

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
