Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Daytona Beach, FL. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional movement in a diverse patient population. This role is suited for licensed professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, medical histories, and clinical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals and functional needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members — including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff — to optimize patient care outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory, billing, and professional standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of current best practices and participate in continuing education.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program or equivalent physical therapy qualification.
  • Current and unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist License.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or specialty rehabilitation settings.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Certification in specialty areas (e.g., manual therapy, orthopedic clinical specialist) a plus.

Work Environment

  • Professional outpatient rehabilitation clinic or medical facility.
  • Supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Monday–Friday schedule with potential for flex scheduling based on patient volume.
