Physical Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient environment. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat injuries or illnesses that impact their ability to function or maintain physical health. This role requires a strong foundation in physiology knowledge, as well as proficiency in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

- Conduct patient assessments to identify physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including trigger point therapy and other techniques
- Deliver physical therapy services in a variety of settings, including hospitals, home community care, and outpatient clinics
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on maintaining optimal physical health
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatment plans and progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care processes

Skills

- Strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology
- Knowledge of patient care and ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
