Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. We are an outpatient clinic who specializes in pediatric care. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help enhance overall quality of life. You will play a key role in guiding patients through their journeys with compassion and expertise. Your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and physiotherapy techniques will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care and oversee PTAs who will be implementing your plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional limitations and develop tailored care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and promote healing and mobility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and community resources to support ongoing recovery.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to Physical therapy practice.
• Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and outpatient therapy services.
• Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
