Physical Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in outpatient. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those recovering from acute and chronic conditions. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in physiotherapy, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop and implement effective care plans that promote recovery and improve quality of life.

Duties

  • Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized care plans tailored to their needs.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Document patient interactions accurately using EMR systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other specialties within physiotherapy.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with relevant state or national credentials.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
  • Experience with developing and managing comprehensive treatment plans for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Ability to perform detailed assessments and implement evidence-based interventions like trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and education of patients.
  • Knowledge of discharge planning processes and experience working within multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
  • Home & community care experience is a plus for providing holistic patient support outside clinical settings. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
