Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our hospital rehabilitation team in Kansas. This position provides care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and offers opportunities for professional growth and leadership within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment programs for inpatient and outpatient hospital patients, including orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex cases.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and modalities to support patient recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and state requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in program development and growth of inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Opportunities to assume leadership roles, mentor staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support departmental goals related to patient care, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT)
  • Active Kansas PT license or eligibility for licensure
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in working across multiple care settings and supporting departmental leadership initiatives.
  • Leadership experience or interest preferred but not required.
