Job Summary
Premier Orthopedics Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our team. We are an Outpatient Orthopedic clinic who specialize in post-operative treatment. We have a very competative patient volume of 1.5 patients an hour. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. You will collaborate with the medical doctors and staff to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safe and effective recovery processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through compassionate and expert physiotherapy services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to develop tailored care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, and geriatrics-focused exercises.
  • Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with healthcare teams and patients to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
  • Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients in acute care or outpatient environments.
  • Document patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed records of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, mobility strategies, and home & community care practices to promote ongoing recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy principles.
  • Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care environments.
  • Expertise in discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations.
  • Skilled in applying various physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatrics, geriatrics, or acute care needs.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
