Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and increase physical fitness. This position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals and maintaining detailed patient records in compliance with state regulations and FLSA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ physical abilities through evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  • Implement physical therapy interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-based activities.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Washington (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of FLSA exempt status guidelines for healthcare professionals.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility and exercises.
