Physical Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized care plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through compassionate patient care, utilizing your strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and physiotherapy techniques.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including trigger point therapy and orthopedics techniques, to promote recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and care plans within electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches based on clinical evaluations and patient feedback.
  • Provide specialized care for pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients in inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care settings.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in acute care hospital environments, outpatient clinics, or home health services.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Experience with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
