Physical Therapist

Overview
We are looking for a Physical Therapist that is open to part-time work at our new clinic in Goodyear. In this vital role, you will assess individual needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and have the assistance of dedicated PTA. Your expertise will foster recovery, enhance quality of life, and promote overall well-being in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions to identify impairments and functional limitations
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with patients’ goals and medical requirements
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless rehabilitation processes
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Some clinicial experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic modalities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient-centered care
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping
