Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities that affect movement and physical function. This role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The Physical Therapist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and medical histories

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals

Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and function

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies and standards
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)

Current Physical Therapist license in the practicing state

CPR/BLS certification (as required by facility)

Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
