Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and goals to establish effective treatment plans.
- Design and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercise routines to support ongoing recovery.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Promote a positive and motivating environment that encourages patient engagement and adherence to therapy programs.
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or rehabilitation centers is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and enthusiasm for helping others recover and improve their physical health.
