Job Overview

This is Just 2 days a week for 6 weeks job.
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Duties

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility and strength.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings, ensuring comprehensive patient management.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, exercises, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy and participate in continuous professional development.

Skills

  • Proficient in developing individualized care plans that address specific patient needs.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Experience in inpatient settings, particularly within hospital systems.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions for patients post-treatment.
  • Ability to work effectively in both clinic and hospital environments, adapting to various patient populations.
  • Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and modify treatment approaches accordingly.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
