This is Just 2 days a week for 6 weeks job.
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Duties
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility and strength.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings, ensuring comprehensive patient management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, exercises, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy and participate in continuous professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in developing individualized care plans that address specific patient needs.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Experience in inpatient settings, particularly within hospital systems.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions for patients post-treatment.
- Ability to work effectively in both clinic and hospital environments, adapting to various patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and modify treatment approaches accordingly.
