About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and mobility. You will assess patients' physical abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote healing and prevent further injury. Your work will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and adapting treatments based on patient progress and feedback. Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology relevant to rehabilitation.
• Experience in orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Sports Physical Therapy.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques and sports medicine rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Additional training or certification in geriatric rehabilitation or chronic disease management.
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies to maintain physical health.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate evidence-based approaches into patient care.
