Duties

• Administer therapeutic treatments including Laser Therapy, Pulsed Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (PMST), and Shockwave therapy in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and develop tailored care plans.
• Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and geriatrics-focused exercises.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge instructions accurately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and health maintenance practices.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.

Experience

• Proven experience in acute care hospital settings with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in inpatient, outpatient, clinic, home health, or hospital environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret clinical notes effectively.
• Prior work involving discharge planning and development of comprehensive care plans is preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems used for documentation and patient management.
• Experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, geriatrics or related specialties enhances your ability to serve diverse patient needs.
• Home & community care experience is a plus for supporting patients outside traditional clinical settings.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
