Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where your expertise will transform patient recovery journeys across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized physiotherapy treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. We are a small family-owned outpatient physical therapy center. You will be a key driver in helping patients regain independence and achieve their health goals through evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual patient conditions such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Administer therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy techniques, and exercise programs to promote healing and functional improvement.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes while maintaining detailed documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and health maintenance practices to support long-term wellness.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and uphold best practices in patient care across all environments.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state or regional credentials.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Experience utilizing EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Skills in discharge planning, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and trigger point therapy preferred.
