Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, improve functional abilities, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality patient care through evidence-based interventions and collaborative treatment approaches.

Working in an on-site clinical setting, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services, monitor patient progress, and contribute to positive patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional limitations, mobility deficits, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other evidence-based interventions to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall function.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies to support recovery and long-term wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, ethical, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active Physical Therapist License in the State of Florida.
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of physical therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of patient evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Experience providing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy interventions.
  • Proficiency in EMR documentation and patient record management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient-centered care.
