Loudoun medical group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Physical Therapist with advanced training and experience in spine care to join our team full-time. This position focuses on evaluating and treating patients with spinal conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation following spine surgery. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using strong clinical reasoning, evidence-based practices, helping them restore function, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions.
- Provide post-operative rehabilitation for patients following procedures such as discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, and other spine surgeries
- Implement evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, McKenzie method and Maitland Approach, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education
- Educate patients on posture, body mechanics, pain management, home exercises, and injury prevention.
- Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Support a positive, patient-centered clinic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current state Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required)
- 5 Years Experience in outpatient orthopedics and/or spine rehabilitation preferred
- Experience treating post-surgical spine patients strongly preferred Skills & Competencies.
- Certification or advanced training in spine care (e.g., McKenzie Method/MDT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT, or similar) preferred.
- Strong Manual therapy skills, clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Outpatient experience
- Patient-focused care and empathy
- Time management and organization
- EMR documentation proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
