Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and assist with setup of therapy equipment to ensure efficient patient sessions
• Support physical therapists by helping with patient positioning, transfers, and exercises under supervision
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions, providing encouragement and support as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks such as intake procedures, documenting patient information, and updating medical records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Observe and learn from licensed therapists about physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care
• Support outpatient, orthopedics and older adult care services by providing compassionate assistance to diverse patient populations

Experience

• Prior hospital or clinic experience is highly preferred to understand the fast-paced healthcare environment
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology enhances your ability to support clinical staff effectively
• Experience working with patients in acute care or post-acute settings strengthens your understanding of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation processes
• Familiarity with hospital medicine or outpatient clinics related to orthopedics or geriatrics is advantageous
• Previous roles involving patient service and direct care contribute to your ability to provide empathetic support in a clinical setting
• Sub-acute care experience helps develop skills in managing complex recovery needs across various stages of healing

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
