Physical Therapist Assistant

We are looking for talented physical therapy assistant to join our growing therapy department. The facility currently has 2 full time PTs and 1 full time PTA and 1 part time PTA. We are seeking either part-time or full-time PTA. The clinic is 2 years old with all new equipment. Neuroscience and spine associates; and Orthocollier currently has 4 therapy offices in Naples. Our company has 6 orthopedic surgeons, 5 neurosurgeons, 5 neurologists, 2 DOs, and 2 pain management doctors.

Job Description:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment
- Implement treatment plans and exercises under the direction of the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the physical therapist
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Skills
- Knowledge of common orthopedic pathologies
- Experience or new gradual welcome to apply
- Strong patient care skills
- Familiarity with post-op protocols
- Understanding of human physiology and anatomy
