We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain following injuries, surgeries, or chronic health conditions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services that help residents improve or maintain mobility, strength, and overall functional independence. This role involves close interaction with elderly and medically complex patients in a long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist in accordance with resident goals.

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks.

• Monitor and document resident progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition.

• Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the facility’s electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Follow all facility policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of care.
