Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Our therapy team is expected to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. You must have expertise in pelvic floor therapy, chronic pain & illness management, and orthopedic/sports medicine. We treat 1 on 1 without patient overlap and prioritize our clinician's time, efforts, and professional development. Pay is based on experience with and ability to immediately treat a complex patient population.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations with pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, chronic illness, and orthopedic/sports medicine pathologies.
- Strong knowledge of arthrokinematics, proprioception, kinesthesia, and multi-system physiology and anatomy.
- Showcase excellent critical thinking and functional analysis to ensure quality assessments each visit in regards to alignment, soft tissue imbalances, and biomechanics.
- Proficiency in the interconnections of the fascia system and various treatment techniques such as myofascia release, visceral manipulation, nerve clearance techniques, craniosacral techniques, ets.
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions with complimentary corrective exercises and activities to address biomechanical compensations.
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records.
- Support discharge planning by educating patients and caregivers on exercises, safety measures, and ongoing care strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
